(Republican Party News) – Judicial Watch is a conservative watchdog group in Washington that regularly takes government entities to court for their failure to supply information to the public that actually belongs to them in the first place.
Unfortunately, the organization cannot do that with Congress due to the fact that Congress decided the Freedom of Information Act is a law that it is not inclined to follow.
According to WND, Judicial Watch is now asking a court to produce an order for “discovery,” which is a legal process that can bring evidence to light in legal disputes.
What kind of evidence is the group looking for? The kind currently being held by the U.S. Capitol Police regarding the violence that transpired on the infamous day of January 6, 2020.
This was the day when President Donald Trump held a rally in the morning, jam packed with tens of thousands of people. After he addressed the people attending the event, thousands of them marched over to the Capitol building, where Congress was scheduled to hold a vote concerning the results from the presidential election.
Hundreds of folks ended up walking into the building, with lots of them entering the building as Capitol Police holding doors open for them. Heck, they even took a few selfies with folks in the crowd.
However, a small handful of individuals became violent and started to vandalize the building, including breaking windows and doors.
“Hundreds have since been arrested and mostly are facing trespassing charges and the like,” the report said. “But there is security video – and estimated 14,000 hours of it – that would reveal in live action exactly what happened that day that Judicial Watch wants to see.”
Judicial Watch then reported, “This case concerns whether the public has a right of access to records about what Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi has described as ‘one of the darkest days in our nation’s history,’ ‘an attack on our very democracy[,]’ and ‘an attack on the peaceful transfer of power.’ Speaker Pelosi also has stated, ‘It is imperative that we find the truth of that day and ensure that such an assault on our Capitol and Democracy cannot ever again happen.'”
“Several people died of natural causes on that day, and several police officers later died of natural causes. or suicide. The only person killed by violence was a protester who was shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer who will not face any punishment, officials have confirmed,” WND said.
This whole thing transpired due to the highly suspect results of the 2020 presidential election where Biden managed to eek out a win by just a few thousand votes that were spread across several key battleground states. However, the circumstances managed to raise enough concerns that lawsuits were filed.
When these lawsuits were deemed unsuccessful, audits, which are still going on right now, were proposed.
“What isn’t in dispute is the fact that state and local officials arbitrarily changed voting laws in order to accommodate fraud-prone mail-in ballots, even though the Constitution allows only state lawmakers to do that,” the report continued. “Further, there were outside influences evidence, since the leftist Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook megawealth handed out cash prizes totaling about $350 million to local elections officials, mostly liberal, so they could run their operations.”
Judicial Watch said that in order “to find out the truth about what took place at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 and to understand how Defendant United States Capitol Police and other government entities responded on that day,” has asked to be given access to the recordings in question.
The group is also seeking access to emails that were exchanged between the police executive team and its board, which is also the same between the board and the FBI, the Justice Department, and others, and “all video footage” from within the Capitol building that day.
“As the Pelosi House seeks the confidential phone and social media records of countless Americans concerning January 6, its U.S. Capitol Police is covering up 14,000 hours of video about what really happened that day,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton went on to say. “The U.S. Capitol Police should be required to explain under oath its reasons for refusing to turn over even one second of January 6 video to the American people.”
The police agency has repeatedly claimed that the videos and other records are not “public records,” stating the public isn’t really interested in the disclosure of these documents, therefore, it will keep them sealed.
Because that doesn’t sound fishy or anything, right?
A new report from BizPacReview discusses how Capitol Police have announced that six of its officers are now facing disciplinary action over things that happened on Jan. 6.
“The USCP released a statement on Saturday, after 38 internal investigations were opened in relation to an overall misconduct audit by the USCP’s Office of Professional Responsibility. Of those 38, the probe was able to identify and investigate 26 of the officers involved in potential cases, and then further narrowed down six officers for formal disciplinary action. However, while disciplinary action has been recommended, the U.S. Attorney’s Office was unable to find sufficient evidence that the misconduct strayed into criminal conduct warranting arrest and prosecution at trial,” the report said.
Here’s a breakdown of the violations these officers are being charged with. Three of them are for “conduct unbecoming [of a USCP officer],” another is for failure to comply with directives, one for improper remarks, and another for improper dissemination of information.
The Capitol Police also said that there’s one case involving an officer who is being accused of “unsatisfactory performance” and “conduct unbecoming” that is currently ongoing.
On a Saturday night, the 20th anniversary of 9/11? Why did you choose to release this tonight? 🤨

“The riots of January 6th continue to raise bitter controversy, with the left saying that such actions constituted a full-blown attempt at a coup by outgoing President Trump’s supporters. U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claims she was afraid of being raped, which in turn inspired mockery from commentators on the right, such as Tucker Carlson, considering the lawmaker wasn’t in the Capitol at the time,” the report stated.
Definitely a lot of shady business with the Capitol Police, right?
