Jussie Smollett Who Tried To Frame “Trump Supporters” In Fake Hate Crime Faces 6 NEW Charges

(Republican Party News) – Back in January of 2019, actor Jussie Smollett made a phone call to Chicago Police to inform them that he had been the victim of a physical assault by two men wearing Make America Great Again hats. You know, the same ones fans of President Donald Trump wear.

The actor, according to a report from 100 Percent Fed Up, said that these two men put a rope around his neck and then hurled homophobic slurs at him. After an investigation was completed, it turned out that Smollett’s story was an acting job that was orchestrated by the gay, black actor as a means to paint up Trump supporters as racist and homophobic.

It didn’t take long for two Nigerian brothers who worked out with Smollett to come forward and tell the truth about the part they played in the hoax. Then, on February 20, 2019, video footage surfaced on social media that showed the brothers buying masks and hats that were then used in the fake hate crime.

So Smollett’s attempt to create this fake hoax did nothing to marginalize Trump supporters, however their actions did provide more evidence that being a liberal is a sign of mental illness.

“On February 21, 2019, Chicago Police Chief Eddie Johnson held nothing back in his criticism of Jussie Smollett’s staged hate hoax after the actor was charged with felony disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a false police report when he reported that he was attacked,” the report said.

During a press conference, Johnson spoke with the media where he said, “Empire actor Jussie Smollett took advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career.”

He then asked, “Why would anyone, especially an African American man, use the symbolism of a noose to make false accusations?”

Early in the investigation, the Chicago Tribune reported that Cook County state’s attorney Kim Foxx had actually asked police Superintendent Eddie Johnson to turn the probe over to the FBI after being approached by Tina Tchen, a former chief of staff to first lady Michelle Obama.

Tchen then released a statement that attempted to defend her interference in the Smollett case.

“Shortly after Mr. Smollett reported he was attacked, as a family friend, I contacted Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, who I also know from prior work together. My sole activity was to put the chief prosecutor in the case in touch with an alleged victim’s family who had concerns about how the investigation was being characterized in public,” she said.

Tina Glandian, the actor’s attorney, then made an appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ where she called him the victim in this situation.

“He did not ask for any of this,” she went on to say. “He was a victim of a crime. This has completely spiraled out of control and become a political event at this point, and his goal and focus right now is just getting his life back on track. He has not even started healing from the initial attack because he’s been dealing with everything that has happened since then. I don’t know. I mean, we’re shocked at the mayor and the police superintendent doubling down yesterday when the prosecutor after a dispassionate look at the evidence realized it does not hold up and chose to voluntarily dismiss all counts and expunge his record so we’ll weigh our options and see how this develops.”

“Foxx reached out to Johnson after Tina Tchen, former chief of staff to first lady Michelle Obama, emailed Foxx saying the actor’s family had unspecified “concerns about the investigation,” the report noted (screen shot here).

Tchen, who just so happens to be a very close friend of Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s wife, stated that she was acting on behalf of the actor and his family. A relative then later on exchanged texts with Foxx (screen shot here).

“In an email sent just two days after Smollett falsely claimed he was jumped by a pair of Trump-supporting bigots, Foxx reached out to Tchen to let her know that she had contacted Johnson, as the Obama alumnus had previously requested. ‘Spoke to Superintendent Johnson. I convinced him to reach out to FBI to ask that they take over the investigation,'” Foxx then said,” according to the report (screen shots here, here, and here).

“OMG this would be a huge victory,” Tchen then wrote as a response to a text message sent from Foxx that contained the same information that was included in the email (screen shot here).

“I make no guarantees,” Foxx said,” but I’m trying.”

“After the series of communications, the FBI never took control of the investigation, which resulted in Smollett’s being charged with disorderly conduct. Fraternal Order of Police President Kevin Graham believes Foxx should be investigated for trying to interfere in the investigation,” the report added.

“Private attorneys are not allowed to interfere with ongoing police investigations, particularly at the request of private individuals associated with subjects being investigated by the police,” Graham went on to say in a letter that was sent Friday to John R. Lausch, the U.S. attorney in Chicago, which was obtained by CWBChicago.

What’s even more ridiculous is how Smollett continued to promote the hoax, using Good Morning America host Robin Roberts to help him try to mischaracterize Trump supporters as racists and homophobes.

And what has all of this gotten the “Empire” actor? Well, he was fired from his television program and now it seems he’s being charged with six new crimes related to his lying to the Chicago Police, according to a report from the AP.

“Smollett was indicted Tuesday for a second time on charges of lying to police about a racist and anti-gay attack he allegedly staged on himself in downtown Chicago, renewing a divisive criminal case that drew worldwide attention last year,” the AP report said.

“The indictment came from a special prosecutor who was appointed after Cook County prosecutors dropped the same charges last March,” the report continued, adding, “The new charges were sure to reignite many of the tensions that surrounded Smollett a year ago. When his claims first emerged, he drew a groundswell of support from fans and celebrities and gave an emotional television interview about the attack.”

“Special prosecutor Dan Webb said in a statement that Smollett faces six felony counts of disorderly conduct, charges that stem from four separate false reports that he gave to police in which he contended he was a victim of a hate crime ‘knowing that he was not the victim of a crime,'” the report added.

The statement started to raise more than a few questions concerning the decision made by prosecutors and their decision to drop the charges and made it abundantly clear that those prosecutors had not done enough to explain why this decision was made. However, Webb did stress that he had not reached any conclusions about whether anyone who was involved with the case had engaged in any wrongdoing.

This guy deserves everything he gets.
