(Republican Party News) – Steve Bannon, one of President Donald Trump’s former advisors, really got under the skin of his many critics by promising there would be huge MAGA wins for the GOP, and for stating that “shock troops” needed to be prepared to take over and “deconstruct” the state.
According to a new report from Infowars, Bannon supposedly met with several of Trump’s political appointees this week and chatted with them about both the president’s and the party’s future, going on to insist that “shock troops” would probably be needed in order to secure victories for conservative candidates.
“If you’re going to take over the administrative state and deconstruct it, then you have to have shock troops prepared to take it over immediately,” Bannon, who is now a political strategist and podcaster said during an interview with NBC on Saturday after his meeting. “I gave’em fire and brimstone.”
During the interview, Bannon went on to dismiss the “standard Republican policies,” and went on to promise there would be more productive “MAGA” wins in the 2022 midterm elections coming next year and the presidential election coming in 2024.
He stated that this would come about because candidates are now pre-prepared with teams to take over important federal positions. Bannon went on to state that Trump’s not filling the 4,000 open positions in the federal government with folks that supported him was what really prevented him from doing a lot more during his four years in office.
“Bannon was one of Trump’s closest and most controversial advocates during his 2016 presidential election campaign, and previously worked in both the conservative film and media fields. The political strategist’s latest fiery words trended on Sunday on Twitter, with critics piling on and denouncing his ‘shock troops’ comment as heinous and some even claiming his recent Republican meeting was ‘seditionist,'” the report said.
Steve Bannon is currently recruiting “shock troops” for the next attack in America and the media thinks that’s just normal now. https://t.co/NLD88QHKOH

This is a meeting of seditionists, publicly plotting to overthrow the government. Not treating it as such is incredibly dangerous. https://t.co/iAPBdBsWY5

Remember when Steve Bannon called for 'Shock Troops' to 'Deconstruct' the administrative state, and we just sort of ignored it?

“Bannon, who was pardoned by Trump earlier this year, spoke to approximately 200 members of the newly established Association of Republican Presidential Appointees (ARPA) at the Capitol Hill Club. The ARPA was formed to create a resource for future GOP officials tapped by a Republican president to fill a federal job,” the report continued.
Bannon was one of multiple individuals associated with President Trump that was subpoenaed earlier in the week to appear before a House committee tasked with looking into the January 6 Capitol riot. The subpoena notes his alleged insistence that members of Congress not certify the 2020 presidential election results.
